hi>fi+ subscribers will no doubt have already seen in the latest issue (54) a substantial Vertex review by Roy Gregory.  If you have not seen it, and are interested in a comprehensive performance-based analysis of an end-to-end Vertex installation this is the one to read. Moreover, RG really gets into the philosopy of the bottom-up 'systematic approach' to building a decent hi-fi system - if you have not considered this approach before we really commend you to give it serious thought and try it out.  We will get a PDF copy of the article into our Reviews section soon.

26 September 2007 - Vertex AQ review on TNT-Audio

Back in the summer, Nick Whetstone, one of the UK-based reviewers  for TNT-Audio, had a veritable plethora of Vertex equipment at his place for review. John Cheadle took the stuff along and spent a day doing an initial 'teach-in', and then left him with the kit for 2 weeks.  We answered a few follow-up calls from Nick, but basically we just left him to play - and come to his own conclusions.

Well we're extremely pleased with the review that resulted. Nick has gone to a great deal of effort to really get to the bottom of the Vertex range and how the products massively improve musical performance - and in this case, in a system with a music server as its source. Nick proves - as we've always said - its not what you've got, its how you use it that counts!
