We have developed a new product in our range of interconnects.  Titled 'HiRes', these analogue and digital interconnects offer an even higher level of performance over the current ranges.  Here is a summary of the diference in construction, materials and performance.

The HiRez Solfonn (analogue interconnect) uses a solid-core silver conductor similar to that used in the Silver Solfonn.  But whereas the conductor in the Silver Solfonn is Teflon insulated, the silver in the HiRez Solfonn is insulated with unbleached cotton.  This offers an even lower dielectric absorption than Teflon. 

The acoustic absorption used in the HiRez is more advanced too.  We have developed a much more comprehensive (and complex!) absorption structure for the HiRez.  Although the absorption module is the same size as that fitted to the other models, the advanced absorption lowers the acoustic noise floor in these cable even further.

The performance improvement with the HiRez over the Silver Solfonn interconnect is dramatic.  In independent listening tests (selected dealers and a few of their customers) the reports back stated that the benefits were apparent in the first 5 seconds of listening!  Major improvements reported are a far more natural and organic sound with a significant increase in presence and life.  And bear in mind that this is in comparison with a Silver Solfonn, which is already recognised as an excellent performer.

There is also going to be the HiRez Illimani digital interconnect.  This will use the same conductors as the standard Illimanis but will have the advanced acoustic absorption.

To reflect the level of performance that these cables represent, they will have a far higher level of finish and look.
