Detailed Product Information

In this section you can download PDFs which give detailed descriptions and specifications of all the Vertex products. Each PDF covers a category of products and within each category each type of product has a general description covering its principles of operation, followed by more detail on each of the particular performance options available. Example; for the Roraima mains leads there is a general description for the leads, followed by some detail covering the differences between 'Standard Roraimas', 'Silver Roraimas' and 'HiRez Roraimas'. There are also tables of specifications showing all the other option information such as connector types, conductor types, finishes, size/weight and any other pertinent information.

When we describe the increasing performance of each item in a range you should note that the description is given in the context of a system setup where that level is appropriate and cost effective. Where the performance of the entry-level product in that range is described, we are describing it in a typical 'untreated' system context. Where the higher performance products are being described, we are then giving that description in the context of a system that is reasonably well provisioned with Vertex equipment throughout the rest of the system. In other words, the hypothetical system is not being hampered by major faults in other areas, which would be the limiting factor. Rather, the system is well sorted and has ample latent performance headroom to realize the gains that the next product up the range is capable of delivering.

Remember this balanced approach is important - you need to apply the Systematic Approach (ask a dealer for one of our books). For example, when looking at using Kinabalus, Jayas and Roraimas in a system. It is more logical, and the results invariably better, to spread the upgrade investment to acquire a good mix of all 3 types of products at the lower/mid-price levels, thus tackling as many fault points as possible, rather than focussing your spend into 1 or 2 HiRez components but leaving some areas of the system totally untreated.
